Your privacy at The Snoozzz Inn

This page explains what information this website collects, why, and who it is shared with. It covers the website at thesnoozzzinn.com and thesnoozzzinn.netlify.app. It does not cover your stay itself, or the booking page, which is run by our reservation provider under its own policy.

What we collect

When you send us a message

The contact form asks for your name, email address, phone number and your message. We use them only to reply to you. The message is emailed to our front desk through Resend, an email delivery service, and is not stored on this website. Copies stay in our front desk inbox for as long as we need them to look after your enquiry or stay.

To stop the form being abused, your IP address is held in memory for up to an hour to limit how many messages can be sent from one connection. It is not saved anywhere.

When you just browse

We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or our own cookies. Our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to run and secure the site.

Other services on our pages

• Google Maps. The map on the homepage is loaded from Google, which may set its own cookies and receives your IP address, as with any Google Maps embed. Google’s privacy policy applies to it.
• Booking. “Book Now” takes you to our reservation provider’s secure booking page. Anything you enter there, including payment details, goes to them and is covered by their policy, not this one.
• Links out. Links to Instagram, Google, Yelp, Expedia and Hotels.com take you to those sites, which have their own policies.

Guest reviews

We show reviews that guests have already posted publicly on Google, Yelp and Expedia, with the reviewer’s name or initials and, where Google provides one, their profile photo. Google reviews are read from our own Google Business Profile through Google’s Business Profile API, using read access granted by our own account. We only read our own business’s reviews and rating, and we do not use that data for anything other than showing it on this website.

If you wrote one of these reviews and would rather it did not appear here, contact us and we will remove it from this website.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or send marketing email.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you from a message you sent, and ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us using the details below.
